Interesting to see what, if any, impact this has on other carriers. The article specifically references the fact that Verizon purchased a certain block of spectrum that came with certain obligations, and I don’t know if any of the other carriers use spectrum with similar restrictions. In any event its likely to be welcome news to Verizon wireless customers who want to tether.
